Only by Hand, Cross N' Patch

The "Only by Hand" sampler began in the dreams and imagination of two friends, Debi Booth and Barbara Oyler. After opening their needle workshop, Only by Hand, Debi and Barbara longed for a sampler that would represent the focus of their shop. Mariann Golich, another friend who had experience as a needlework teacher and designer, was selected to create the sampler. Together, the three friends worked on design elements, fabrics, threads, and colors. Customers fell in love with the sampler and filled Mariann's classes. It became apparent that the design should be published, and I am honored to present it to you.
