Lavender & Lace
Emma's Garden
So sweet and charming, this design is a "must stitch". It shows a precious child in a garden of hollyhocks and lavender; she holds white roses with satin ribbons. Combinations of embroidery stitches using Pearl Cotton and floss create the illusion of real lace across the bottom like a picket fence enclosing her garden. The top of the fabric is dyed so that she has sunshine on top and the darker blue is a background for the lace. We used a very wide ornate frame in a square shape so that it looks like a museum quality piece
