This is a counted cross stitch interpretation of an antique perforated paper design. The original is owned by Dr. Gale B. Armstrong. As you work on this project, you will not find many of the individual elements of modern counted cross stitch. There are very few letters that are identical, and the spacing between letters and lines is inconsisent. We think the beauty of this design is found in its rhythm and symmetry.
This design is rated IS (Intermediate Stitchers) due its finished design size - approximately 24 x 19 when stitched on 28 count linen.
