LEVEL 3 - #02 “BARGELLO TECHNIQUE"

This stitch is also known as Florentine Stitch. This stitch is found most often in canvas work for pillows, chair covers etc. The bargello stitch consists of a basic straight stitch which you lay side by side to make up different patterns. The fiber you use for this stitch should be thick enough to cover the fabric threads as you make each straight stitch.
