Golden Dreams Sampler

A sampler for the New Millenium The Golden Dreams sampler, a combination of traditional and modern sampler design. It is a sampler that not only celebrates the beginning of the new Millenium, but also celebrates the triumph of the spirit of love and friendship at the beginning of all new and exciting changes in our lives. The sampler shows two people holding each other’s hands, looking up towards their new horizon. There are evergreen trees symbolizing eternal life. The never-ending ocean and the crystal-clear view of the mountains on the horizon symbolize the clear view of the distant future. The butterflies are a sign of renewal, and the light of the sun symbolizes the source of spiritual life here on earth. Finally at the top, is a rainbow of colors, a sign of hope and peace. Although this sampler was inspired by the new Millenium, it is a sampler that can be stitched for many other occasions! Whether you are planning a new job, a marriage, a new baby, a Christening, an engagement, a friendship, a new house, a graduation, or any new direction in life, this sampler can be stitched to remind us that the future can be wonderful with the love and support from others.
