The Victoria Sampler
Crystal Waters Sampler, Part 1 of Elements Series
As the sampler developed, it was realized that it should become a part of a larger concept, namely that of Water, Air, Fire, and Earth. It is worked on pure white linen and features snowy white Hardanger mountains atop bands of sparkling purple blue waves, foamy white waves, mixed bands of hemstitching, and finally a lovely deep band of bargello at bottom. There is even a pod of whales as seen from a distance! Petite blue crystal beads, white pearls, and aqua blue beads add texture and light to this summer sampler. Stitch it to capture your memories of time spent near or on the beautiful waters of the earth.
