Christmas Wreath

Creamy Hardanger Lace surrounds this Christmas wreath decorated with a garnet silk ribbon bow and tiny ruby roses. It is even encrusted with pearls and sparkling beads! Stitched using creamy Perle cottons on antique flax colored linen, the elegance of this design will captivate you at Christmas and all through the year. All the silk ribbon, hardanger, and other techniques in this design are easy to do. No matter what your stitching levels, the instructions will help you step by step. Although this Christmas Wreath Sampler is designed for Christmas, you can certainly decide to change colors for other occasions. For instance, use soft pink pearls and silk ribbon to create a lovely Valentine pillow. Change beads and ribbon to purple and gold and add a gold cross charm in the middle to make a lovely Easter hanging.
