The Snow Queen

Description

This floss woven woman was inspired by winter storms and Danish fairy tales I read when I was a little girl. Patterns of beads and sparkling stars adorn her heavy cloak. Her companion is equally adorned in festive winter swirls and dripping crystal beads. I love the moments after the strong beautiful storms when
everything is pure and silent. I imagine this is why they name the storms after women.

Model stitched on 32 count Twilight Blue Linen (65-18) by Wichelt Imports. Alternate fabric 16 count Twilight Blue Aida (355-180) by Wichelt Imports. Stitched area is 18.375″ w x 15.188″ h with a stitch count of 294 x 243. Stitched 2 over 2
