Lighthouses of the West Coast, Tidewater Originals

Of the more than 50 lighthouses (light stations) along the West Coast, we were able to select only 17 of these lonely beacons to chart for this book. Choosing the 17 was very difficult, for all of the West Coast Lighthouses are charming, and each has its own splendor. However, we did have to make some arbitrary choices, so we are sorry if we missed your favorite. We tried to select lighthouses representing different types of architecture, from the very small to the very tall. We hope you will enjoy stitching these charts.

Patterns for the lighthouses include West Point, Cape Flattery, Gray's Harbor, North Head, Cape Disappointment, Yaquina Head, Heceta Head, Umpqua River, Cape Arago, Cape Blanco, St. George Reef, Point Arena, Alcatraz, Pigeon Point, Point Vicente, Los Angeles and Point Loma.
